Our samidori cultivar is cultivated and harvested by Imanishi "Tecchan" Tetsuya in Wazuka, Kyoto. Tecchan is a young tea farmer whose family has been cultivating tea for 5 generations; at the age of 25, Tecchan took over his family tea business. 

This lot is first harvest. 

When cupping, I smelled seaweed, tasted creamy avocado and experienced an after taste of dark chocolate.
