We source ceremonial-grade matcha and rare matcha cultivars from both celebrated farms and emerging growers - teas so coveted that much of the 2025 harvest is already spoken for.
Our farmers are among the most in-demand procurers of award-winning matcha across Japan's regions. Through our relationships, we've secured portions of harvests that are largely already committed elsewhere.

We are hosting our inaugural pop up at our partner shop, Iris. August 3rd. Limited quanities available.

Amongst celebrations in America, we are busy preparing for our initial public launch. We’ll be hosting pop up events to further the ritual of matcha in areas where it is currently admired. We believe it to be true that the matcha we have patiently sourced, not rushing to market, will be some of the best and most loved matcha offered in the West.

Most of first harvest is in it’s final stages amongst Japan’s biggest producing regions. Above is a still from one of our most beloved farms we’ve been working with for an extended time. We enjoy Aki’s matcha for his farm’s abnormally high elevation. Higher than most matcha farms, his slow growing tencha yeilds a far more complex leaf, giving an incredibly nuanced matcha when processed. Delicious.

Samples have been thrilling thus far from the earlest first flush harvests in Uji and Kagoshima and Yame. We’re also expanding our sourcing relationships into other regions, primarily the Aichi area where one of our farmers have connected us to a collective there.

We are anticipating a late summer-early autumn launch for our initial public offerings. This places us after the initial wave of true first harvest matcha arriving in the United States market, giving our matcha the spotlight it deserves. Harvest has commenced in many regions of Japan with our farmers in Uji and Kagoshima already being weeks into harvest. Processing is next.

Growing global demand for premium Tencha, combined with limited production capacity, is creating supply constraints across Japan's tea regions. Many of our partner farms are anticipating a potential second shortage in 2026, making this year's harvest increasingly valuable.

Final bids on Matcha lots from Japan's more reserved regions and private farms are finalizing. We are currently finalizing our initial matcha allocation of the 2025 harvest.

Sampling the past twenty-twenty four harvest, the lesser known saemidori cultivar, from multiple farms we pulled samples from, stood amongst the best matcha we curated all season. We will be exploring this cultivar further in the following harvest season.
